UWA

The UWA/QEII is projected to attract more than 50,000 people per day by 2020, with a centre of this magnitude likely to require a similar level of services to a regional city.

Due to the growing need for services and transport, the University of Western Australia (UWA) commissioned Planning Context to prepare a submission to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) in support of the designation of UWA/QEII as a Specialised Activity Centre in Directions 2031 with increased housing.

The submission also supported the need to improve public transport services to the Activity Centre.
