Planning Review

Planning Context was commissioned to undertake a best practice review of the processes and procedures of the Development Services Division of the City of Albany. This project included a review of:

  •  Delegated authority to determine
      whether the Planning Services team
      have appropriate levels of delegation.

  •  The City’s planning policies.

  •  The effectiveness of the Technical
      Advisory Group.

  •  The adequacy and quality of the
      information provided to Council for
      its consideration.

  •  A review of existing KPI’s and other
      performance indicators to ensure their
      effectiveness and relevance. The results
      of the analysis were assessed against
      best practice planning principles.
