Climatic Response Design Guidelines

Client: LandCorp

The purpose of this project was to create a set of Climatic Responsive Design Guidelines for LandCorp Projects across the State. The project aimed to understand and address the gaps in the current planning, subdivision and building control provisions to ensure the provision of more sustainable and liveable housing across Western Australia. The project included research and consultation required to ensure the guidelines address the various climatic zones within Western Australia. A key area of innovation was in dealing with planning and residential design in the north west of the State.
