We have recently been successful in obtaining Development Approval from the Town of Vincent to allow the redevelopment of Finbar’s strategic site in Highgate, located on the corner of Stirling Street and Harold Street, behind the Queens Hotel. The proposed development includes the retention of a heritage building on the corner and the development of 130 multiple dwellings in several buildings ranging from 3 storeys to 6 storeys. We successfully achieved a greater dwelling density and height than normally permitted (through the mediation process of the State Administrative Tribunal) given the site’s strategic nature within the Beaufort Street Activity Corridor.
