LandCorp, in association with the Department of State Development, has appointed TPG to formulate a structure plan and associated scheme amendments for the Kemerton Industrial Park (KIP).

Located in the south west of Western Australia, in close proximity to the expanding Bunbury Port, the KIP has been established with a substantial buffer to cater for heavy industries. The core area of the KIP comprises approximately 2,100 hectares of industrial land, with a buffer of approximately 5,400 hectares.

A good understanding and appreciation of potential land use synergies with the Port will be important, with the potential to attract a more diverse range of industrial tenants and activities that can be melded to support sustainable growth in the South West Region.
