Development Approval for Perth's iconic QV1 Tower

TPG is delighted to be part of the consultant team that recently secured development approval for the refurbishment of the iconic QV1 site at 250 St Georges Terrace, Perth. This exciting new development designed by HASSELL will complement the existing QV1 office tower, and will include the construction of two new office towers on site and the refurbishment of the existing public plaza.

The new mixed use developments are to be constructed in stages, with Stage 1 comprising an 11 storey office tower situated on the southern side of Hay Street, to the west of the existing public plaza. The tower, to be known as QV2, will provide over 7,000m2 of office floor space, an associated childcare facility along with ground floor food and beverage retailers. Stage 2 will include an 11 storey office tower situated above the existing multi-storey car park on the northern side of Hay Street. The Stage 2 tower, to be known as QV3, will provide over 20,000m2 of additional office floor space.

The existing public plaza located on the southern side of Hay Street will be redesigned as part of the Stage 1 works. A glazed canopy and garden being described as a 'living mural' will be the focal point of the public plaza and will provide a vibrant community space offering food and beverage options around the perimeter of the plaza.
