Kalgoorlie City Centre

Client: City of Kalgoorlie

TPG worked in collaboration with the City to prepare a strategy to revitalise key nodes within the public realm of the City Centre. Creating attractive and inviting people focused places is imperative. Rather than dispersing attention across areas in need of improvement, this project focuses on a handful. Once these places are singing, a positive flow effect is envisaged: one that permeates both the public and private domains.

The team had to quickly adapt and respond to design ideas posed by the local community ahead of scheduled community engagement. By clearly articulating critical revitalisation considerations, the project team was able to gain positive community buy-in the project who are now eager to improve the liveability and viability of the Kalgoorlie City Centre.
