The Claremont North East Precinct is approximately 8.5 hectares of prime urban infill land just to the north of Claremont train station. It will be a high amenity mixed use and residential precinct which complements the existing Claremont Town Centre immediately to the south. The project has a strong focus on the public domain and its interface, with a variety of compact urban public spaces that connect between urban apartment blocks to the retained oval.
One of the big challenges with the project is integrating the activities of the Claremont Football Club with future residential to create a multifunctional recreation space that services the needs of both the local community and the club. Having reviewed the existing structure plan, we have evolved and clearly illustrated the vision for the site and prepared a detailed master plan, design guidelines and subdivision plans.
