To achieve this we have directors and team leaders who are highly regarded in their field.


Managing Director, Land Use & Development Planning

Tony joined TPG in 1992 and was made a Director of the company in 1996 and Managing Director in 2015. Tony leads the Land Development team at TPG, partnering with a wide range of clients in both the public and private sector. With over 30 years experience in the profession, Tony prides himself in adding real value to every project and to achieve the optimum strategic and development outcomes for his clients.



Executive Chairman, Statutory Planning

David has over 35 years experience in urban and regional planning and until 1 January 2015 was Managing Director of TPG since its formation in 1989. David has spent the last 27 years at a senior management level, specialising in statutory planning, strategic and structure planning, development control, project management and documentation, corporate property portfolio management, policy formulation and delivery, planning advocacy and presentation of Town Planning Appeals. David is now Executive Chairman and remains a Director of the company. David has also been a Professor at UWA since 2010.


Director, Urban Design and Placemaking

Andrew joined TPG in 1994 and has been a Director since 1996. Andrew leads the Urban Design and Place Making teams; his expertise covers master planning, urban design, heritage matters, community consultation, study management and regional planning. Andrew has been responsible for the masterplanning of a number of significant projects, including Subi Centro, Northbridge Village and Latitude 32.



Director, Administration and Finance

Jan has been a part of the TPG family since 1993 and has been a Director since 2005. Jan leads the Administration and Finance team; her field of expertise includes management accounting, company secretarial, administration, IT and human resources. Jan is proud of the support that this team provides, both to our clients and to other teams within TPG.


Director, Projects

David joined TPG in 2000 and has been a Director since 2010. David has experience in private practice, local government, State government and redevelopment authorities. His field of expertise covers significant development applications, scheme amendments, structure planning, guideline preparation and implementation.



Non-Executive Director

After a long and rewarding 24-year career at Wood & Grieve Engineers Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the importance of staff culture and client service. Mike also understands the value of corporate planning, strategy development and implementation, and robust management processes. Mike has broad experience and relationships within the development industry.


Director, TPG Conversations

Cath has over 20 years experience in local and state government, and has been with TPG since 2008, and a Director at TPG since 2015. Cath leads TPG Conversation, a team that specialises in community and stakeholder engagement.  She also offers a broad range of experience in strategic planning, project management, regional growth planning, town centre revitalisation and urban design.




Matt joined TPG in 2004 and has been a Director since 2015. He has extensive experience working on broad strategic land use planning projects for major developments across WA. His experience includes strategic and statutory planning particularly in the areas of industrial development and retirement living. He has an excellent knowledge of planning approval processes, practical subdivision design, development solutions and logical implementation measures. He has been working with government agencies and private developers for many years.
