241 Railway Parade, Maylands

Client: 241 Railway Parade Pty Ltd

TPG was selected to prepare a development application for a mixed-use development upon the iconic 'Ross's Salvage' site in Maylands. The development consisted of ground level café, offices, and a convenience store, a total of 347 residential dwellings and enclosed basement car parking.

The building was thoughtfully designed in regard to the site context, with a three-storey interface to the surrounding streets, and the bulk of the building contained within two central 10-storey elements. Successful negotiation with the City of Bayswater in regard to this key development site helped secure the planning approval. The development capitalises on its close proximity to Maylands Train Station, and will encourage further development of the Maylands Activity Centre.
